NINA GRØNLYKKE MOLLERUP
is an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and leads the project Views of Violence. She researches images of violence ethnographically and collaboratively, exploring their potential for justice.
ROAA ISMAIL
is a Sudanese researcher and storyteller whose work explores culture, art, conflict, and governance. As co-founder of Dar Janoub, she curates underrepresented stories from Sudan and the Global South.
IBRAHEM TAHA
Sudanese musician, songwriter, and sound engineer. Co-founder of Aswat al Madina Production and Band, blending traditional melodies with contemporary sounds.
KHALID ALBAIH
Sudanese political cartoonist and curator known for bold, satirical drawings on freedom, identity, and exile. His work challenges authoritarianism and censorship worldwide.
KHALID SHATTA
Sudanese–Norwegian visual artist working across photography, installation, painting, and sculpture. His art celebrates Nuba identity and confronts colonial erasure.
HOZAIFA ELSIDDIG
Sudanese painter trained in architecture who blends oil and acrylic on paper. His work reflects the 2019 revolution and examines oppression and resilience.
MOHAMED BAKR
Sudanese photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller. Through the Darfur Network for Human Rights, he uses visual storytelling to expose the toll of war in Darfur.
